How we look after your data
Where AIMS runs
- We host AIMS on Railway, Cloudflare, AWS or DigitalOcean, whichever you prefer.
- All traffic between your team and AIMS is encrypted over HTTPS.
- If you want us to, we maintain it for you after setup.
Backups
- Your database is backed up every day.
- When you leave or move servers, you receive a full backup of your data, as set out in your agreement with us.
Who can see what
- Role-based permissions, from the whole organisation down to a branch, a role, a single form and a single field.
- Hide sensitive fields, such as cost prices or salaries, from roles that do not need them.
- People see the branches and records their role allows, and nothing else.
Sign-in security
- Two-step sign-in with an authenticator app.
- Accounts lock after repeated failed sign-in attempts.
- Password rules you set, such as minimum length and expiry.
- Sign in with Google, if you prefer.
A record of who did what
- Sign-ins and sessions are logged.
- An audit log records important changes, so you can see who changed what and when.

Can I stop staff from seeing cost prices or salaries?
Yes. Permissions go down to individual fields, so a role can use a form without seeing the fields it should not.
What happens to my data if I stop working with you?
