Technician cost comes from what each technician was paid that month in AIMS payroll

What gets in the way

  • Some contracts lose money and nobody knows which.
  • Renewals are priced on last year's number, not on cost.
  • Technician time is never counted against the contract it was spent on.

What changes with AIMS

  • Margin per contract

Contract value against parts and technician cost, with cost per visit.

Questions you may have

Where does the technician cost come from?

From AIMS payroll. A technician's pay for the month is divided across the visits they did that month, so each visit carries a fair share. If payroll has not run, AIMS uses salary components and marks the figure as an estimate.

Can we see costing for service outside AMC?

Yes. Service work for non-AMC customers is costed per customer in the same way.
