AIMS and Tally

Tally stays your books of account. AIMS reads from it, so the people who sell, service and move stock see the same invoices, customers and items your accountant does, without anyone typing them twice.

See it on your business

What it does

  • Pull sales, purchase, AMC and service invoices, suppliers, expenses and delivery challans for a date range and branch.
  • AIMS IQ also pulls customers, products, receipts and credit notes.
  • Everything lands in a review inbox first. You check it, then post it to AIMS or send it back.
  • Customers, suppliers and products are matched to what is already in AIMS, or created as they come in.
  • Connects to TallyPrime on your network, directly or through a small connector on the Tally computer.

Good to know: The sync runs from Tally into AIMS, when you start it. Posting back into Tally is limited today; tell us your setup on the demo call.

Questions

Does AIMS replace Tally?

No. Tally stays your books of account and your accountant keeps working in it. AIMS brings Tally data to the teams that sell, service and manage stock.

Does the sync run on its own?

You start it for a date range and branch. Records wait in a review inbox, so nothing reaches AIMS until someone has checked it.

Does Tally need to be on the internet?

No. AIMS reaches TallyPrime on your network, either directly or through a small connector installed on the Tally computer.

Can AIMS post invoices back into Tally?

Only in a limited way today. Tell us how your Tally ledgers are set up and we will say plainly what works for you.
